You’re Never Too Young To Exercise

by Brooke on November 12, 2013

We’ve all heard how good exercise is for us. Did you know that statement is true for all ages? You’re never too young to get active, get stronger, and improve your health!

If this picture doesn’t get you motivated I don’t know what will!  This lady didn’t wake up today and make an excuse to skip her workout.  So, ditch the I’m too busy, I’m too old, and I’m too tired excuses and get active.

Don’t know where to start?  The American Heart Association Recommends:

  • At least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity at least 5 days per week for a total of 150

                                                                                            OR

  • At least 25 minutes of vigorous aerobic activity at least 3 days per week for a total of 75; or a combination of the two

                                                                                           AND

  • Moderate to high intensity muscle-strengthening activity at least 2 or more days per week for additional health benefits.

What motivates you to workout?

I think everyone should see this picture…it’s worth a thousand plus words. Think I’m going to go take my dog for a walk…no time for excuses. Great post!

I agree! We don’t have any good excuses if she can do it :) Thanks for the positive feedback!
