Does Sensa really help you shed pounds?

So hear it comes…the new weight loss crave is “tastants.” WHAT!?!

Sensa is a new product that was developed by Dr. Alan Hirsch.  He believes that if we enhance the perception of taste and smell our brain will feel full and satisfied quicker.   Sensa is a product that is sprinkled on your food, which is why it is called “The Sprinkle Diet.”  The tastants are said to be calorie-free, sugar-free, sodium-free, and gluten-free.  They also come in a variety of sweet and savory flavors.  The sweet flavors are cocoa, spearmint, banana strawberry, raspberry, and malt.  The savory flavors include cheddar cheese, onion, horseradish, ranch dressing, taco, and Parmesan cheese.  Interesting…

The claim is that by using this product you will feel more satisfied consuming smaller portions and thus not overeat.

The problem the research done on this product was only done by Sensa.  It was also not reviewed or published by a credible scientific journal; therefore, the product may not work or be safe.

My issue with this product is that it is just another FAD Diet.  Do you really need to trick you brain into feeling full?  If you eat enough vegetables you won’t need to sprinkle anything on your food!  Another problem is that you still could overeat if the portion sizes on your plate are to big to begin with.    AND why would you want to add fake flavors to a meal?  Oh right…we (Americans) don’t know how to cook anymore.  We just eat the flavors given to us in a package, frozen dinner, or meal deal.

If you really need to sprinkle something on your food just try herbs and spices 😉

QUACKERY AT IT’S FINEST! This is the biggest bunch of bull-honkey I have ever succumbed to trying. Yes, I loathe to admit I bought Sensa a few years back. It did NOTHING for me. In fact, the unused shakers disintegrated in my cupboards…stupidest fad I ever fell for!

I remember actually looking this up not too long ago to see what the ingredients were. If I remember correctly, the ‘sugar’ one was some sort of prebiotic fiber and the ‘salt’ one was a salt substitute of some sort….so…yeah…its a crock…

Sensa is a just another weight loss rip off!!! Let me guess—the instructions for use come with a recommended diet. Probably like the one that comes with every bottle of Hydroxycut.

Still, I will admit that I’ve wondered if I could like cruciferous vegetables if I drench them in lemon juice and take an mBerry tablet!!!

This product is insane. The worst part about it is that so many people will look at it as their weight loss solution.

My mom tried this. She said it was very inconvenient to have to bring the sprinkle packets with her and that there were times when it just wasn’t possible to use them. They also did nothing for her.

Yeah, this is just ridiculous! I completely agree with ya!
So people can still keep eating unhealthy foods and just sprinkle a bit of this on it and they are set. Crazy!?!
